Đầu tiên và quan trọng nhất là công phu hành thiền như đã đề ra trong các bức thư này, và có thể do vị Hiệu trưởng chỉ dạy. Mỗi năm một hay hai lần vị Hiệu trưởng điểm đạo đồ của trường cao cấp mà trường dự bị liên hệ sẽ duyệt xét các đạo sinh, và sau khi bàn thảo với vị Hiệu trưởng trường dự bị, người sẽ ấn định phương pháp thiền cụ thể điều chỉnh theo nhu cầu của mỗi đạo sinh. Mỗi năm một lần, vị Chân sư trông nom cả hai trường cũng sẽ duyệt xét các đạo sinh và thông báo cho vị Hiệu trưởng những sự điều chỉnh cần thiết. (Tôi cũng xin nhắc các bạn rằng mối quan hệ của Chân sư với đệ tử có tính cách riêng tư, và dù Ngài có thể thường xuyên tiếp xúc riêng với đệ tử của Ngài, điều này vẫn không ảnh hưởng gì đến việc Ngài chính thức duyệt xét các hào quang kết hợp của cả trường.)
First and foremost, the practice of meditation as laid down in these letters and as may be apportioned by the Head of the school. Once or twice a year the initiate Head of the school to which the preparatory school is allied will pass the pupils in review and in conference with the Head of the school will apportion specific meditation adjusted to the pupil's need. Once a year the Master responsible for both schools will likewise pass them in review and communicate to the Head any necessary adjustments. (I would here remind you that the relationship of a Master to a disciple is a private one and though He may be in constant touch with His pupil privately, this affects not His official review of the united auras of the school group.)
