16b. Chiron in the Houses.

Chiron's house provides more information about emotional wounds and how to heal them.

Chiron in 1. A healthy sense of self, how we look, and being in control of life; these were impaired in childhood due to the emotions being wounded by parents or carers. Unhealed, they will result in a loss of confidence in oneself and the appearance, when in the company of others. A strong and confident sense of self must be developed. When successful, Chiron in the 1st gives a natural wisdom, the power of self-healing and also the power to heal others through the life-examples that are set.

Chiron in 2. The emotional wound involves a belief that we have no value and are unworthy. It can lead to “poverty consciousness”, feeling poor no matter what material assets have been accumulated. Compensatory behaviour can be an exaggerated need for material assets or addictions to food or drink. The remedial goal is to learn to value all the fine, non-material assets we have. For example, appreciating one's inner beauty, goodness or integrity. Chiron in the 2nd gives the power to heal one's self-worth and that of others.

Chiron in 3. This placement indicates a problem with communication - of one's inner feelings and truths and insecurities about being heard or listened to sympathetically. These are consequences of growing up in an environment where there was constant criticism and judgment. The development of public speaking skills will help overcome this. Another task is to learn to communicate truth wisely, in ways that does not injure people. Chiron in the 3rd gives the power to heal by communicating wisdom.

Chiron in 4. This placement indicates trouble in the home during childhood. There was abuse of some form that was damaging to the inner-child, causing emotional wounds that now need healing. It may result in a lack of trust in one's own ability to create a healthy home and family life. Or an unhealthy codependency upon people who are unkind or unworthy, because the inner child is still seeking parental approval. Cutting ties from toxic people and moving away is sometimes necessary. Chiron in the 4th gives the power to heal fears in the unconscious generally and gives innate wisdom on how to form a healthy home base.

Chiron in 5. Unhappy childhood experiences ranging from being denied pleasure outings to sexual abuse; these have caused an emotional wound that will interfere with creative work. It may also induce a sense of guilt about enjoying simple pleasures in life. Until such insecurities are healed, they can affect the ability to form healthy relations with children or impair the ability to have a happy and uncomplicated love-life. Inner- healing will release the creative force of life that flows through the heart. Chiron in the 5th gives the ability to heal others in very creative ways, which includes play, joy and laughter.

Chiron in 6. Crises and hardships early in life and possible serious health problems within the family unit; these have resulted in deep emotional wounds and insecurities. These can take the form of doubting one's ability to cope if a health problem should arise, or anxieties over not being able to make a living. Hypochondria could develop or a work-obsession, so that one becomes driven in one direction or another. Chiron in the 6th indicates the need to heal such anxieties. Success will produce wisdom, because of having healed oneself. It can also produce a very wise and skilled healer.

Chiron in 7. Relationship healing is required. Trouble amongst the parents when growing up, the possibility of a divorce so that the family unit was destroyed; these have resulted in deep emotional wounds that need healing. Anxieties could take the form of lacking confidence in one's ability to form a healthy and enduring partnership, or that unions will eventually end up in open warfare that destroy all who are around. Chiron in the 7th shows the ability to heal such wounds, to develop excellent relationship skills and potentially to become a brilliant counsellor and healer of other people's woes.

Chiron in 8. Emotional trauma needs healing. Contributing causes can be the traumatic loss or death of a parent while a child, or being sexually, emotionally or physically abused. The study of western psychology or/ and Eastern metaphysics, and applying what has been learnt remedially to oneself, this will help bring about the needed inner adjustments. It will also help to restore faith in one's ability to handle major changes or traumas in the future. The insight and skills acquired during the process will give immediate insight into others who have similarly suffered. From such training and healing, one can become a master-healer.

Chiron in 9. Children with this combination, may grow up being indoctrinated by morals and beliefs that are judgmental, narrow and skewed. The consequence of this will be an outlook on life that is similarly twisted and a dislike of any religion or peoples in the world who are different. Such dogmatic ideals should be pulled up into the light of clear analysis so they can be destroyed. This will restore healthy open-mindedness. A questioning and inclusive attitude is vital for both spiritual and physical health. Chiron in the 9th gives the ability to develop a wise outlook and to use what has been learnt to guide and teach others who have similarly had their minds twisted.

Chiron in 10. Indications are that in childhood, shame descended upon the family and its reputation was damaged; alternatively, one's reputation was seriously tarnished in a previous incarnation. Either way, the emotional wound suffered then is still present with consequent low self-esteem. It can initiate behaviours such as constant striving to be better than anyone else, or needing constant reassurances that one is okay. Healing will be achieved when the constant comparing of oneself to others stops and life-contentment is found. Chiron in the 10th gives the potential to make a career out of teaching and healing.

Chiron in 11. Rejection by one's peers, by one's chosen tribe, is perhaps the most powerful and debilitating of all fears. It is primeval. We are gregarious people and need the group we belong to for survival. Chiron in the 11th indicates there has been such a wounding, either in a previous life or early in childhood. Whichever, a negative core belief about rejection needs to be healed. When this has been achieved, it gives an ability to teach friends and groups to similarly heal themselves.

Chiron in 12. A serious emotional wound caused by covert actions, hidden away from the public gaze (this could have occurred in a previous life), has yet to be healed in the unconscious. Until then, the toxicity surrounding such a trauma will have a debilitating effect on the life as well as on physical and psychological health. It can cause a fear of life and people, so that one is vigilantly guarded and unwilling (or unable) to share at a deep intimate level. Such people tend to hide away from life so they will be safe. If there are symptoms like these, therapy assistance is required to resolve the inner damage. If this is done, then Chiron in this house gives the potential to heal the most deeply damaged and wounded of people.
