3c. Moon's Nodes in the Signs.
The Moon's nodes are the two points at which the orbit of the Moon crosses the ecliptic. They are diametrically opposite each other. The north-node sign represents positive qualities to develop, to counterbalance past-life negatives represented by the south-node sign.
Nodes in Aries - Libra. When the Moon's north-node is in Aries, positive traits such as using the initiative, courage and assertiveness should be expressed, to counterbalance Libra south-node negatives such as indecision, procrastination and cowardliness. When the north-node is in Libra, cooperative qualities such as good manners and social skills should be expressed to counterbalance Aries south-node negatives such as selfishness, lewdness and aggression.
Nodes in Taurus - Scorpio. When the Moon's north-node is in Taurus, positive traits such as being steadfast, practical and loyal should be expressed to counterbalance Scorpio south-node negatives such as emotionalism, revengefulness, holding on to the past and nursing grievances. When the north-node is in Scorpio, the reverse is true. With the Moon's north-node in Gemini, good social and communication skills should be expressed to counterbalance Sagittarius south-node negatives such as boasting, irresponsibility and a lack of discipline. When however, the north-node is in Sagittarius, directness, honesty, expansiveness and wisdom should be expressed to counterbalance Gemini south-node negatives such as trickery, lying, restlessness, duality and shallowness.

When the Moon's north-node is in Cancer, healthy emotional expression is required and nurturing kindness, to counterbalance Capricorn south-node negatives such as coldness, meanness, materialism and calculating hard-heartedness. With the north-node in Capricorn, qualities such as healthy ambition, common sense and practicality should be expressed to counterbalance Cancer south-node negatives such as emotionalism, moodiness and defensiveness.
Nodes in Leo - Aquarius. With the Moon's north-node in Leo, self-assertiveness, benevolence and heart- felt expression should be expressed to counterbalance Aquarius south-node negatives such as intellectual detachment and coolness. In the reverse case, when the north-node is in Aquarius, positive traits such as humanitarianism, goodwill and brotherliness should be expressed to counterbalance Leo south-node negatives such as egoism, arrogance and selfishness.
Nodes in Virgo - Pisces. When the Moon's north-node is in Virgo, positive traits such as mindfulness and discrimination should be expressed to counterbalance Pisces south-node negatives such as being too fluid, emotional and indiscriminate.
