Uranus in each sign represents how each generation expresses its independence and changes the world.

Uranus in Aries (2011-2020). The goal for this generation is to bring forwards a new crop of leaders that are original and independent in their approach. “Movers and shakers,” they must break free from traditional aspects in society that are seen to be old and limiting to human freedom and lead humanity into a new and ethically higher direction. However, in the masses who are still emotional, this force will increase impulsive, erratic and selfish behaviours that will create conflict and chaos in the world. The individual task is to reorganise the desire nature and develop the scientific mind so that life is viewed more logically. At the higher level, Uranus gives the gifts of intellectual brilliance, intuitive leadership, the will to change things for the better and power to manifest higher goals.

Uranus in Taurus (2019-2027). For this generation, the goal is to bring in new technologies and innovative systems and methods in business and finance, so that the economy and institutions that run it deliver better services for all the people of the world. Banking systems must be reformed and corruption rooted out. However, Uranus falls in this sign. People can be conflict-ridden, erratic and some may have bizarre appetites and desires. Many will succumb to selfish greed and consequently, world finances will worsen for a while and this will create the demand for change. The individual task is to purify the lower appetites and direct desire into higher, creative projects. When this is done, the finer qualities of Taurus can manifest - creative brilliance in business or the arts, power to create harmony and beauty, a steely will and the power of goodness that can destroy darkness and evil.

Uranus in Gemini (2027-2034). The goal for this generation is to bring in new and innovative communications methods so that what people think and have to say can be more rapidly distributed across the world. Generally, this combination gives an original and versatile perception and if circumstances are favourable, mental brilliance. However, in emotional individuals, duality is emphasised instead and the electrification of mind-stuff can cause unreliable and erratic thinking that results in trouble and strife. The task is to resolve duality and this can be done by concentrating on one matter at a time until it has been concluded. Focus and concentration will help to overcome the instability in the lower nature. At the higher level, Uranus gives intellectual and intuitive brilliance and the power to influence people through words. Such people are “Messengers of the Gods.” They are able to teach complex esoteric truths in a clear and scientific manner and consequently, can awaken minds to new and higher thoughts.

Uranus in Cancer (2033-2040). This generation's goal is to revolutionise the family unit and what “family” means; to modernise the way families are formed so they better serve modern cultural expectations. However, individually, this combination stirs up the astral nature, which can demonstrate as unpredictable mood swings, explosive emotional eruptions and rebellious outbursts that destabilise and disrupt the family and emotional life. Home life can be transient and chaotic - Uranus is the change planet. The task is to intelligently reorganise the way the emotions are expressed so they are calmer and more balanced. This will enable Uranus to unfold the higher spiritual gifts of Cancer. For example, it gives the will to obliterate ignorance through the application of wisdom in its many forms. People at this level are intuitive Light Bearers who use original methods to transform and improve conditions in mankind.

Uranus in Leo (2039-2046). The goal for this generation is to bring forwards a new crop of leaders and rulership systems and methods, so that the masses are governed in a more dignified and benevolent way. Alternatively, to produce a greater range of original and unique artistic expressions and productions. Individually, there is flair, fire and creative brilliance - as a leader, in the arts or in any field where original ideas and work are admired. The will is strengthened and so is the need to be independent and free of any constraint. However, the unregenerated ego will rebel against authority and demand that all should look to it for leadership and rule. It is an autocratic bully and a troublemaker in groups. The task is to decentralise the ego and render the nature more inclusive. This will align the heart and mind. Then, leadership brilliance will be demonstrated and charismatic magnetism that will attract many followers.

Uranus in Virgo (1961-1969). For this generation, the goal is to revolutionise medicine and healing, to bring in new and innovative methods and health systems so that the people are better served. Individually, rebelliousness is expressed in practical ways. Such as, avoiding the servitude of a boring work-life by acquiring wealth and material possessions; or finding ingenious ways to use modern technology to make a living. But generally, the task is to use the intelligence to serve the higher goal of this combination to improve medicine and health. When wisdom blossoms in the heart and mind, intellectual brilliance and the higher intuition will demonstrate. Those at this level have the will and expertise to raise the health or work conditions and standards in the community and even across the world.

Uranus in Libra (1968-1975). The goal for this generation is to revolutionise relationships generally and marriage specifically. At the broader level, so that modern cultural expectations are better served; at the higher level, so that the union in consciousness between soul-wisdom and the selfish personality is expedited. Individually however, this combination brings wilfulness and strengthens a desire for independence that can cause disruptions and divorce. There will be many short-lived unions and some may seem bizarre to others or at the least, very unorthodox. The development task is to learn from these experiences and form unions that while honouring traditional commitments, also allow for greater self-expression and freedom. At the higher level, this combination gives a brilliant, judicious intellect that has power to harmonise complex disputes and conflicts.

Uranus in Scorpio (1974-1982). For this generation the goal is to bring to the surface the darkness that lies hidden in human nature - the hate and evil, so they can be destroyed. In some, this force feeds the lower appetites and boosts desire so that the emotions, passions and wilful determinations are enhanced. There may be stealth, stalking, violence and friends becoming predators. Intense sexual urges take some in a dark and illegal direction. Uranus strengthens the intellect and it helps those with this combination to fight their way from the darkness of illusion and lower-desire, to the light of clear-intellect. A scientific program like Raja Yoga (spiritual control through the mind), will be beneficial. Esoterically, Scorpio is considered to be the greater burning ground of trial and testing of the emotional-desire nature. In those who are successful, Uranus (which is exalted in this sign), bestows the intuitive powers of the White Magician - an advanced soul who uses the forces of nature to bring about the greater collective good.

Uranus in Sagittarius (1981-1989). This generation's goal is to revolutionise humanity's beliefs and morals. It does this by bringing to light superstitions, falsehoods or outdated notions that bind the human soul so they can be seen for what they are and radically changed or eliminated. Uranus is comfortable in Sagittarius - the urge to be free is in the sign of freedom, galvanising a love of adventure and travelling. But at the lower level, influenced by the “centaur”, the animal appetites are enhanced. Life is adventurous but irresponsible. Friends are sought to carouse with and over-indulge food and drink, to do risky things with and to rebel and cause trouble. The task is to re-direct this force into creative projects, to find and follow a higher way. When the scientific mind develops and esoteric training unfolds the spiritual gifts of Sagittarius, it produces brilliant teachers of the wisdom and true intuitive prophets.

Uranus in Capricorn (1988-1997). The areas in life this generation has to revolutionise are government and the rule of law - rehabilitation must be emphasised rather than punishment. To achieve this, the combination gives business and executive brilliance, heightened ambition and a compelling drive to succeed. The more active, Uranian types in the masses will rebel against authority, conservatism and any restriction of their freedom. Demanding to live by their own laws and dictates, they will try to force these onto others. The development task is to re-direct this power and ambition towards higher, non-material things in life. For instance, in support of ethical and humanitarian organisations that contribute to overall world good. At the higher level, Uranus in Capricorn gives the will, power and ability, to manifest the Plan of God on earth.

Uranus in Aquarius (1996-2004). This generation of independent individuals will refuse to conform to the “ordinary or boring.” They are rebellious and unpredictable and will seek out like-minded souls with whom to engineer change more in line with their ideals. Their generational task is to promote human-rights and brotherliness, to transform and revolutionise society on all levels so that its systems and methods benefit the greater, collective good. The individual task is to use the gifts of originality and inventive insight, scientific ability and intellectual brilliance to benefit local projects in the community. At the lower level however, this force will galvanise individuals who have narrow and self-serving goals and who will cause chaos and anarchy when they cannot get their way. The most advanced people who are influenced by this sign are the true World Servers or Water Bearers of humanity. Uranus located here gives the opportunity for those who are born with this combination, to raise humanity up through science or esotericism.

Uranus in Pisces (2004-2012). This generation's goal is to revolutionise non-governmental groups and organisations in the world that care for the suffering in humanity; to modernise them and make them more effective. Individually however, those who are emotional could have their delusions galvanised, causing them to seek out “spiritual” experiences (such as religious cults), which excite and feed the sensual appetites and that bring emotional satisfaction. On another level, fundamentalist religions that rely on superstition and control by fear could feel threatened and retaliate by being aggressive with their particular brand of Old Testament rules. The development task is to use the intelligence to see through delusion and to make wiser decisions based on logic and facts. Pisces produces world saviours who radiate the wisdom and compassion. of Deity to comfort and save the suffering. Those with this combination can contribute to this work.
