9b. Uranus in the Houses.
The house in which Uranus is located is where we are required to make all things new, where we should take calculated risks and experiment with the new so that we can let go of negative patterns and align more completely with soul-wisdom.
Uranus in 1. Uranus in the house of personal affairs encourages us to be daring, to be different, to develop a new approach to life and create a new image. It urges us to use our initiative, to be original, to always move forwards. Uranus rules science, so this placement also encourages us to make decisions using reason and logic. Like-minded fellows will become friends.
Uranus in 2. A radical change is required in one's attitude towards personal possessions. The goal is to free oneself from the desire for money and wealth, so this does not control the personal values and life direction. New and higher values should be cultivated and resources should be shared with friends and the community. Finances may be chaotic, but generally, original ideas and methods can be used to generate income.
Uranus in 3. Change is required in day to day communications with relatives, neighbours and in the close environment generally. Those with this combination should endeavour to be more independent in thought and speech and more direct in what they say. Shocking people out of their complacency with the unvarnished truth could be part of this experience. Communications can be used to help awaken people's minds.
Uranus in 4. Change is required in the family home and relationships. A more independent approach should be taken to counter-balance old toxic patterns that are corruptive to the family unit. There will be many changes at home so being prepared to adapt or to move will be advantageous. For some there will be opportunities to build a spiritual ashram or to hold occult or scientific discussions with friends at home.
Uranus in 5. Unusual creativity is given with this placement, and/ or the ability to be highly innovative and original in bringing joy to others. There will be unorthodox relationships with children and lovers, who will come into the life in unusual ways. A few with this combination may be denied having their own biological children or have them by resorting to modern science. These creative talents can be used to awaken young minds to higher truths.
Uranus in 6. A more daring and independent approach at work is required and more innovative means to generate a living. Life will support the development of skills in science, with new technology and in alternative areas of health, care and medicine. There could be nervous trouble if things become too chaotic and unmanageable. Treating such disorders and general health problems with alternative medicine will be beneficial. So, will finding original ways to de-stress.
Uranus in 7. Radical change is required in relationships to counter-balance toxic ways of relating that cause divorce. There is a need to be independent in all important partnerships, including not relying on others to supply one's emotional needs. Uranus in this house sometimes indicates divorce. This is not necessarily true, but a difficult relationship would have to dramatically change for the better if it is to survive. Uranus in 8. Radical transformation is required in the use of sexual force and the handling of joint resources. Travel across the globe will bring diverse experiences and points of view and this will help formulate a new set of moral codes that are more in-line with contemporary spiritual understandings. Uranus in 10. Exploring more than one career path before settling into a groove is required. Even then, there will be many changes in the career and it is likely to involve science, internet, new technologies or be in a radically new and alternative direction. Either way, the placement gives the opportunity to become renowned for one's unique talents and original ideas. Authority figures will be friends.
Uranus in 11. A renewal of the people and groups chosen to associate with socially and politically, is required. Being daring, radical and experimental when choosing friends will help find people, we are more in tune with. Uranus is the revolutionary planet and we are encouraged to rebel against people and ideas that are unfair and harmful to the greater good. This combination gives an ability to inspire our group-fellows to move in a new and higher direction.
Uranus in 12. The eradication of any patterns of thought or behaviours that are negative and self-defeating is required. This means freeing oneself from subconscious fears and mystical nonsense that controls conscious reality. These negative core beliefs should be brought into light and destroyed with the power of scientific and rational thought. Then, the same can be done to help other people who are similarly affected. Many hidden friends will support attempts to progress forwards in life.
