13. Ceres Aspects - Self-Acceptance.
Ceres-Pallas. Self-acceptance and mental-creativity unite. Positively applied, there is an ability to intelligently understand how to nurture people so that healthy self-esteem and confidence develops. In most cases, parents would have been encouraging and supportive and this gift was fostered then. In contrast, hard aspects show an unhappy childhood with critical and demanding parents. The consequence of this is a tendency to attack oneself with negative thoughts for not being good enough. If so, the ability to heal oneself through the use of creative visualisation and positive affirmations is associated with this combination.
Ceres-Chiron Nurturing and healing-wisdom unite. Emotional wounds, the consequent of rejection by a parent or carer is associated with this combination - especially with the hard aspects. In such a case, emotional hurts, low self-esteem and a subsequent inability to trust others needs healing. A deep understanding about human nature and how to nurture people so they feel good about themselves will arise as this is done. Easy aspects indicate this wisdom is present and is a natural gift that can be used to heal people who have suffered parental rejection.
Ceres-Nodes. Nurturing and spiritual-progression unite. All aspects indicate that an important goal in life is to learn to love and accept oneself - this is especially true with the conjunction to the south-node and hard aspects. The tendency to get stuck in feelings of low self-esteem, coupled with a powerful fear of rejection; this is preventing healthy life interaction and forwards progression. Developing an inner sense of security, which is based on healthy esteem is the goal. This can then be used to assist others to unconditionally love and accept themselves. The conjunction to the north-node and easy aspects helps the expression of this.
Ceres-Asc. Self-acceptance and new beginnings unite. An important spiritual goal with this combination, is to develop a strong and healthy sense of self and to nurture others as the road of life is travelled. These qualities may be present at birth with the conjunction and casy aspects; and if so, people will see these characteristics and be supportive and nurturing in return. “What goes around, comes around.” There is work to be done with the hard aspects, a need to heal an acute sense of grief and abandonment. Learning to love and accept oneself is the key. This then can be extended to others.
Ceres-MC. Self-acceptance and higher-goals unite. If low-esteem is present (more likely with the hard aspects), an important life goal is to heal this and to learn to love and accept oneself. Not only is this vital for inner-development, but so that career goals will not be adversely affected. This negativity and self-doubt will be seen by those in power and will likely inhibit opportunities. The conjunction and easy aspects indicate that self-confidence will help the career blossom and that nurturing others in some way could form the basis of a successful career.
