This is the deeper and true purpose of the craft - mastery over the processes of living on this planet. Astrology gives us self-understanding about who we are, what we are meant to do in this life and how to get there. This is the key to Self-mastery.
“Know thyself,” is the ancient Greek injunction.
Astrology gives us the means to scientifically study ourselves as energy beings, and the transformations we need to make in consciousness, in order to gain Self-mastery and bring ourselves into harmony with universal flow. To this end, the Eastern Master Djwhal Khul said:
“If each one of us would scientifically regard ourselves as centres of force, holding the matter of our bodies within our radius of control, and thus working through and in them, we should have a hypothesis whereby the entire cosmic scheme could be interpreted.”
Astrology is a cosmic science, which trains us to do what the Great ones do - to be masters of the energies of life and to control and intelligently work with the energies of the signs and planets. This is our task! To all who study the science -
